When in Doubt Wear Red

This season I'm all about red - red shoes, red lipstick (not shown here as you can see) and...well that's it actually.  But I'm not a huge red fan so that's pretty red for me :) I like how these shoes make even the simplest outfit interesting - in the example below they make all the difference between me looking like I'm taking the trash out in oversized pants and being dressed for a dinner out :)

Every woman needs a little black dress and I think I found a perfect one for me! I love this asymmetric dress - short in front, long in the back, I think it's one of those pieces I'll be wearing for a long time. I wore this dressed-up combination with gold sandals to a dinner but paired with  flats and an over-sized bag it would make a great casual chic look - can't wait to try it!
