When in Doubt Wear Red

This season I'm all about red - red shoes, red lipstick (not shown here as you can see) and...well that's it actually.  But I'm not a huge red fan so that's pretty red for me :) I like how these shoes make even the simplest outfit interesting - in the example below they make all the difference between me looking like I'm taking the trash out in oversized pants and being dressed for a dinner out :) 

LBD

Every woman needs a little black dress and I think I found a perfect one for me! I love this asymmetric dress - short in front, long in the back, I think it's one of those pieces I'll be wearing for a long time. I wore this dressed-up combination with gold sandals to a dinner but paired with  flats and an over-sized bag it would make a great casual chic look - can't wait to try it!

California trip was all about dresses...we wore them on an easy Friday evening, looking like school teachers, while having a cocktail at a rooftop bar in Downtown LA, we sure wore them in Las Vegas (Vegas baby!!), when shopping on Beverly Hills or hanging around on Venice Beach...

The Color Orange

This summer I'm all about orange -  orange dress, orange bag, orange wallet, orange bracelet, orange nailpolish, orange blush...good thing I don't have orange hair anymore.

Ljubljana in the summer Saturday afternoon...a nice walk by the river...hanging around and exploring new sites...there is always something new even for me, so whenever I can, I enjoy being a tourist in the city I live.

Goodbye Skinny, Hello Slouchy

While the the fashion world is all about "dare to go flare" jeans right now, I found my favorite "feel good" pair in a form of slouchy jeans. Not sure how to explain it but they are not skinny and they're not boyfriend. Low on hips, tight around legs but not harem pants. In other words - "a perfect fit za mojo rit" :)

NINAROZINA

Who is NINAROZINA? Or, better, WHAT is NINAROZINA?

NinaRozina is a nickname of a very special lady, who founded the NINAROZINA brand.
The project has just started, but we have recognized Nina's talent and we believe that she has a huge potential, crazy ideas and persistence which will lead her on her way.
Vogal especially loves her because of the way she presents and creates street style pieces...her clothes look simple, are playful and made of comfortable materials. Nina's style includes basic cuts, more or less basic colors, sometimes in combination with lively patterns, all packed up in a youthful, almost sporty spirit.
Whatever direction Nina, who is now a student of Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering / Department of Textiles, will take in the future, we support her 100% and we are always looking forward to publish a post with her new collection.


For the beginning, I've decided to present the two pieces of her latest project, custom made funky sweaters that Nina has designed and produced.
We are wearing NINAROZINA sweaters, which are totally unique, colorful, simple but meaningful - just like Nina is!

The Katalena performance in Kino Šiška seemed to be the best occasion for presentation of Nina's project in public, so here we go!!

Paris, beautiful Paris

As cliché as it sound – it is more than true. Paris is truly always beautiful, no matter the time of visiting, the weather, the company you travel with, the amount of money you have decided to spend, no matter the hotel you are staying in (3 stars and more of course), no matter what!! Just hit the streets, the museums, shops or restaurants, whatever you like, enjoy and love it!

This post is not so much new-fashion-trends oriented, it’s a glimpse of everyday life on Parisian streets with a pinch of touristic enthusiasm (it’s was my Mum’s first time) and bohemian spirit that takes you over as soon as they kick you out of the CDG-Paris bus at the “Arch”…

"Fashioning Fashion"

A few weeks ago I finally went to LACMA to see "Fashioning Fashion" exhibition. It was amazing! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me so I took a few shots with my cell (sorry about the bad quality of pics, no smartphone here - how untrendy of me!). Anyways, enjoy this short trip to the history of fashion :)

This booty enhancment is made so it would fold when when seated. Brilliant idea - given it's functionality I am pretty sure it was invented by a woman.
